Kitzbüheler Alpen · zone 3
MTB skills course Kitzbühel · Kitzbüheler Alpen
Big names, modern trails. From Hahnenkamm to Bichlalm there's plenty here for advanced riders.
What this location is good for
Not a classic bike park but natural trails with tight switchbacks and technical sections. Here we practise the slow riding that makes you fast: switchbacks, rear-wheel pivots, balance. For everyone who wants to improve away from built lines.

Practical info for your course day
Bike park / trails: KitzBike · Trails in Kitzbühel (Kitzbühel Tourismus) · Natural trails rather than a classic bike park; bike transport depends on the lift, ticket at the lift.
Season / opening times: 1.5.-1.11. daily (Naturtrails; Hahnenkammbahn 1.-31.5. und 15.6.-1.11., Fleckalmbahn 4.6.-11.10.). No courses here outside the season. Lift hours as published by the lift company, subject to change.
Lift tickets are not included in the course price, you buy them at the lift. For Level 1 please wait and check with me on the day: often we only practise fundamentals without the lift or need just a single ride. Level 2 and 3 usually need a bike day pass.
Bring: A working bike (brakes!), helmet (mandatory), gloves, water and a snack, weatherproof clothing. I strongly recommend knee and back protectors, rentable at the shops below.
Rent a bike & protective gear
No bike, helmet or protectors of your own? I know these nearby shops and can recommend them. Please reserve ahead, on weekends everything is often gone.
