MTB skills course Innsbruck Bichl Trails · Trailcenter Rossau

Innsbruck's inner-city trail centre: flow line, jump line and XC loop on 2.2 km, completely free, no lift ticket needed.

What this location is good for

The Bichl Trails are Innsbruck's first inner-city trail centre, built on a renaturalised landfill in Rossau: flow line, jump line, natural singletrails and an XC loop on 2.2 km, from blue to black. Perfect for beginners because you don't need an expensive lift ticket and still have everything in one place, you pedal up the mellow uphill trail. For private courses I only recommend the half day here: the terrain is compact, a full-day session pays off more elsewhere.

Which course suits you?

Group course: Fixed dates, 3-8 riders at the same level. Cheaper, with group energy. Ideal for getting started and staying at it.

Private course: Just you or your own crew (up to 8), day and start time your choice. My full attention, the fastest way to progress.

Practical info for your course day

Bike park / trails: Bichl Trails Innsbruck (Trailcenter Rossau) · Free, no lift, open all year. Arrive by bike or park in Rossau.

Season / opening times: open all year. No courses here outside the season. Lift hours as published by the lift company, subject to change.

Lift tickets are not included in the course price, you buy them at the lift. For Level 1 please wait and check with me on the day: often we only practise fundamentals without the lift or need just a single ride. Level 2 and 3 usually need a bike day pass.

Bring: A working bike (brakes!), helmet (mandatory), gloves, water and a snack, weatherproof clothing. I strongly recommend knee and back protectors, rentable at the shops below.

Rent a bike & protective gear

No bike, helmet or protectors of your own? I know these nearby shops and can recommend them. Please reserve ahead, on weekends everything is often gone.
